Directions:

Keene Central School is located in the center of Keene Valley, NY, the High Peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains. The school is located very close to the Keene Valley Fire Station on Market Street, just off NY-73 which runs through the center of town. We are approximately 20 minutes away from Lake Placid, NY. Visitor and handicapped parking spaces are available in the paved parking area at the school.

Driving From the South

Take NY-87N to Exit 30 (Lake Placid/Keene). Turn left onto NY-9N. Bear left at the junction onto NY-73N heading towards Keene and Lake Placid. Stay on NY-73 which will take you right into Keene Valley. Turn left onto Market Street.

Driving From the North

Take NY-87 south (the Northway) to Exit 34 (Keeseville/Ausable Forks). Take a left off the exit ramp onto NY-9N heading south. Follow NY-9N through the towns of Ausable Forks, Jay, Upper Jay, and Keene. After passing through Keene you will be in Keene Valley. Market Street is on your right in the center of town.

Driving From the West

Follow NY-73S from Lake Placid, through Keene, to Keene Valley.

Driving From the East

Take NY-9N to NY-73S to Keene Valley.
