Superintendent's Message
As the school year draws to a close, the halls are filled with displays featuring special projects done by students, older students studying and busy finishing course work. Special events are being planned to celebrate the accomplishments of so many.
It’s a bittersweet time when the District recognizes the employees who have served the District and the students of our community so very well for so many years. As these five people make the transition from their school lives and jobs to the adventures they will find in retirement, we want them to know their hard work and commitment is appreciated and that we wish them much happiness.
Those retiring this year include: John Clark, Joanne Whitney, Kristy Westvang, Jerry Smith and Millie Smith. “Thank you and best wishes to each of you.”
The Class of 2009 will soon be making their exit as well. Their futures are spread before them. They will leave us each with a different set of goals and plan for the next years. We wish them the best and hope that they take with them the skills and confidence to succeed in whatever they attempt.
“Congratulations to the Class of 2009.”
Cynthia Ford-Johnston
Superintendent, Keene Central School
